About the role
We are seeking a friendly, energetic Sales Associate who will also act as a cashier in our toy store. The role involves helping families find the perfect toys while delivering a smooth and enjoyable checkout experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting age‑appropriate toys.
- Provide detailed product knowledge, highlighting features and benefits.
- Recommend complementary items and upsell where appropriate.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Restock shelves, unpack new inventory, and ensure attractive product displays.
- Follow store policies, procedures, and cash handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets.
Required profile
- Passion for toys and ability to engage with children and parents.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and friendly demeanor.
- Energetic, reliable, and able to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Basic numeracy and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
