Sales Engineer

About the role

Petrotech International is seeking a Sales Engineer to map industrial territories, identify factories with compressed air needs, and drive sales of air compression solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through prospecting, customer visits, referrals and follow‑up with existing contacts.
• Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance, procurement teams and business owners.
• Develop a qualified sales pipeline and manage opportunities from initial contact to purchase order.
• Conduct site visits to understand requirements and work with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Grow existing accounts through regular visits, replacement opportunities, upgrades and new projects.
• Monitor market activity, competitor offerings and upcoming industrial projects.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, opportunity updates, forecasts and work towards agreed sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience selling air compressors or related industrial equipment is a strong advantage.
• Own a car and hold a valid driving license.

Required skills

• Negotiation, presentation and selling skills.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
