Sales Engineer – Swimming Pools & Equipment

About the role

The Sales Engineer will bridge technical expertise and sales, helping clients select the right pool equipment, preparing quotations, providing after‑sales support, and closing deals. This role requires knowledge of pool hydraulics, filtration systems, pumps, and chemical treatment combined with strong selling skills.

Key responsibilities

• Meet walk‑in clients and respond to calls/WhatsApp to assess pool specifications and recommend suitable equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators and lighting.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proforma invoices and sales orders, and follow up on proposals to close deals.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for pump failures, leaks or pressure issues and advise customers on maintenance and chemical dosing.
• Monitor market trends, new pool technologies and competitor pricing, and relay feedback to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of sales or technical support experience in swimming‑pool equipment, water‑treatment, pumps or HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of pool hydraulics, pump curves, filtration cycles and basic chemistry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Arabic; English is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and familiarity with CRM or inventory systems.
