SAP ABAP HANA Application Developer (Entry Level)

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a fresh graduate to join its SAP team as an Application Developer focused on ABAP and HANA technologies. You will work on designing, developing, and supporting SAP‑based application solutions while gaining hands‑on experience with the latest SAP HANA ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of custom ABAP programs optimized for SAP HANA.
• Use ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse to build and test application components.
• Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) views, database procedures, and native SQL logic.
• Support data‑modeling activities in HANA Studio under senior guidance.
• Develop and consume HANA Live models, ALV on HANA, and other HANA‑optimized objects.
• Follow SAP performance best‑practice guidelines and collaborate with functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, teamwork orientation, and communication skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Motivation to learn continuously and pursue a career in SAP consulting.
