SAP Project Manager – Lead End-to-End Implementations

About the role

The SAP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of SAP implementation projects across their full lifecycle. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure projects meet time, cost and scope targets while delivering the expected business value.

Key responsibilities

• Define project plans, set milestones and manage execution from initiation to closure.
• Identify and allocate key resources, providing direction to meet project objectives.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align project outcomes with the overall IT strategy.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, ensuring adherence to SAP delivery methodology and quality standards.
• Scope, estimate, assess risks and communicate risk mitigation strategies.
• Balance the triple constraint of time, cost and scope, and proactively manage scope changes.
• Escalate issues early to account or delivery management and drive resolution.
• Conduct project reviews with customers and obtain formal acceptance at closure.
• Manage regional contracts and maintain vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience managing end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects.
• Proven track record of at least two full implementation cycles and support projects.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
• Leadership experience and ability to guide cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SAP delivery methodology (SAP Activate).
• Agile project management principles.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.
