SAP Test Manager

About the role

PwC's Advisory practice in Cairo is looking for an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead testing efforts across its projects and ensure the quality and reliability of its software solutions. The role suits someone with at least 9 years of experience in software testing and a strong track record of managing testing processes and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans and processes for SAP, including SAP Activate methodology
• Lead and manage a team of testers, giving guidance, support and mentorship
• Set test strategy and plan, and set and review the UAT strategy
• Manage SIT/UAT cycles in medium-to-large projects
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives
• Use automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing
• Conduct risk analysis and prioritise testing by impact and criticality
• Monitor and report on testing progress, including defect tracking and resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues quickly
• Stay up to date with testing best practices and emerging technologies, and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• At least 9 years of experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and processes
• Good communication, reporting and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• ISTQB certification is a plus
