School Floor Supervisor

About the role

The School Floor Supervisor ensures a safe, positive, and well‑managed environment for students throughout the school day. This role works closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and leadership to support student wellbeing and smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, break times, transitions, and other designated areas.
• Monitor student behaviour and enforce school policies and expectations.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Respond promptly to student incidents, concerns, and emergencies.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and leadership to support wellbeing and behaviour management.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
• Assist in coordinating and supervising school events, assemblies, and emergency drills.
• Maintain accurate incident records and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in school operations, student supervision, pastoral care, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
• Professional, approachable, student‑centred attitude.
• Good command of English.
