About the role
The Egypt Education Platform is seeking a qualified School Nurse to join the team at GEMS – The British School Al Rehab for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The role involves delivering first‑aid, medical care, and health promotion to students and staff in a dynamic school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff.
- Assess and manage illnesses and injuries that occur during the school day.
- Maintain accurate medical records and student health files.
- Administer medications in line with school policies.
- Monitor students with chronic conditions and develop appropriate care plans.
- Promote health awareness and support a safe, healthy school environment.
- Communicate health information effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and Ministry of Health regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and calmness in emergencies.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
