Science Teacher

About the role

The Science Teacher will join Dcontracto’s school in Cairo on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role focuses on delivering engaging physics lessons while supporting broader science curricula and integrating mathematics where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans for core science subjects, with an emphasis on physics.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain an inclusive, positive classroom environment that addresses diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, attend school meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Integrate relevant mathematical concepts to reinforce scientific understanding.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher status with proven classroom management experience.
• Strong foundation in science education and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience teaching physics and supporting mathematics instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science Education, Physics, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and continuous professional development.
