Security & Safety Associate

About the role

PwC's IFS (Internal Firm Services) team is hiring a Security & Safety Associate in Cairo. The role supports day-to-day security operations, with a focus on CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, compliance with safety protocols and routine checks. It is an entry-level position suited to someone eager to grow in corporate security and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the CCTV system to cover critical areas in real time, and prepare daily CCTV reports.
• Report suspicious activity or incidents immediately to the Security Manager and assist with incident reporting and follow-up.
• Conduct regular floor security checks and audit inventory for stores.
• Handle the internal access card process in line with policy and approvals, and audit security personnel to check discipline and adherence to procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company security guidelines and assist employees, visitors and contractors.
• Cooperate with external service providers and contractors, ensuring approvals and entry permissions align with internal guidelines.
• Carry out regular safety inspections, support emergency procedures such as evacuations, first aid coordination and drills, and maintain safety logs and corrective action follow-ups.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree (security or safety preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in security and safety operations.
• Good verbal and written communication and reporting skills.
• Physically fit and able to patrol the premises, including night shifts.
• Alert, responsible, honest and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of security systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
