About the role

EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Accountant / GCC (Egypt Based) to join its finance team in Cairo. The role focuses on debt recovery, customer negotiations and account reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

Identify overdue accounts, follow up with customers and implement strategies to recover outstanding payments, ensuring timely collection and minimizing bad debt.
Negotiate repayment plans and alternative payment solutions with customers.
Reconcile accounts by comparing and matching financial records, resolving discrepancies and keeping financial statements accurate and up to date.
Create detailed aging reports tracking overdue accounts, categorizing balances by due date and giving management actionable insights.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (English section).
2-3 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
Very good English, verbal and written.
An IFRS diploma is a plus.

Required skills

Experience using an ERP system, preferably Oracle.
Account reconciliation and aging analysis.
