Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintain robust accounting records, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. The role combines operational oversight with analytical responsibilities to safeguard financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper accounting treatments, maintain legal and statutory records, and prepare reconciliations for all assigned accounts.
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice verification, approvals, GL allocation, and timely payments.
• Monitor and resolve unusual figures, pending payables, and intercompany transactions.
• Oversee costing for parts shipments, reviewing documentation and recording costing fields.
• Reconcile e‑invoicing portal submissions with recorded invoices and coordinate quarterly meetings with business units.
• Prepare regular supplier aging reports, financial risk assessments, and support month‑end/year‑end closing packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 2‑4 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem‑solving skills, and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of international accounting standards.
• Good knowledge of local accounting standards.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
