Senior Architect – Lead Design Projects

About the role

NAGA is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design projects from concept through construction in Alexandria. You will deliver high‑impact design solutions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with local and international building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design proposals, detailed drawings, and specifications for medium to large‑scale projects.
• Coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants across architecture, interior, landscape, and master planning.
• Review and refine design solutions, mentor junior architects, and support a collaborative studio culture.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and stakeholder workshops to resolve technical and design challenges.
• Monitor project progress, conduct site visits, and oversee documentation and quality control.

Required profile

• Strong architectural design and planning skills with experience in concept development and space planning.
• Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and clear documentation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture; professional registration or licensure is a plus.
• Previous experience in an architectural practice, preferably on medium to large‑scale projects; regional experience in the Middle East is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Revit or other BIM platforms.
• Experience using 3D modeling and visualization software.
• Solid knowledge of local and international building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
