Senior Associate – Cloud Infrastructure & Recovery

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced Infrastructure and Recovery Consultant to join its Cairo team. You will design, implement and govern secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and disaster‑recovery solutions for global clients. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership, client stakeholders and engineering teams across the PwC network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment and optimisation of hybrid cloud infrastructure, managing Windows/Linux systems, networking, storage and virtualization platforms.
• Develop and implement enterprise‑grade disaster‑recovery solutions, including out‑of‑band communication channels and rapid‑restore capabilities.
• Implement backup technologies such as Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault and Veeam, ensuring data protection and compliance.
• Apply FinOps principles to optimise cloud spend, support budgeting and governance.
• Define SLI/SLO targets, lead incident response and drive SRE practices using Azure Monitor, New Relic and observability tooling.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible, integrating CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure architecture and operations.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale transformation and recovery projects in hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to align technical solutions to business continuity goals.
