Senior Audiovisual Communications Associate

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Audiovisual Communications Associate to strengthen its brand compliance and produce high‑quality audiovisual and graphic content. Reporting to the Senior Regional Media and Communications Officer, the incumbent will help design and implement multimedia activities that boost the organization’s visibility across digital and traditional platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support brand compliance and create audiovisual, photographic, and graphic outputs for institutional communications.
• Produce, edit, and publish videos, infographics, and motion‑graphics pieces.
• Develop and execute multimedia campaigns that increase engagement on social media and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with regional media teams to ensure timely delivery of content under tight deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high production standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Multimedia Design, Graphic Arts or related field (or high school diploma with seven years of relevant experience).
• At least five years of professional experience in photography, videography, video editing, and graphic design.
• Demonstrated ability to create infographics and other visual communication tools.
• Familiarity with social‑media platforms and optimization of multimedia content for digital distribution.
• UN/NGO experience, especially in migration, is an asset.
