Senior Backend Developer (Node.js & AWS)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join DNEXT’s fast‑growing team. You will build and maintain the core services of our market‑intelligence platform, working with Node.js and a suite of AWS technologies in an agile, startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Leverage AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, RDS Aurora, IAM, S3) to create scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers and other stakeholders to define objectives and deliver cohesive code.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Write and keep up‑to‑date documentation for new and existing features.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services, including Lambda, EventBridge, RDS (Aurora), IAM and S3.
• Solid understanding of SQL database management.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
