Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend services. The role focuses on PHP/Laravel development while also valuing experience with Node.js/NestJS and AI‑assisted coding tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design, optimize, and document database schemas, queries, and data models.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications and services.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through profiling and optimization.
• Integrate internal and external systems, including third‑party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams following clean‑code and testable practices.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development efficiency, debugging, and code reviews.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and backend architecture.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and optimize complex queries.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
