Senior BIM Coordination Engineer

About the role

The Senior BIM Coordination Engineer will lead the creation, maintenance and integration of multidisciplinary BIM models for large‑scale construction projects. You will ensure that all Revit models follow the approved standards, support efficient collaboration across architecture, engineering and MEP teams, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit templates, families and starter files, and set up project standards, worksets and survey points.
• Audit and clean models by removing warnings, unused elements, and ensuring compliance with the required Level of Development (LOD) defined in the BIM Execution Plan.
• Coordinate model interfaces across disciplines, manage links, and resolve clashes using Dynamo scripts and other automation tools.
• Maintain drawing naming, numbering, title blocks and ensure consistency between models, drawings and project documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, support BIM collaboration and enforce approved workflows and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in BIM coordination, model setup and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Proven ability to lead BIM processes, improve business procedures and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit (templates, families, worksets).
• Experience creating and running Dynamo scripts for automation.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans and Level of Development (LOD) concepts.
• Model coordination and clash detection across Architecture, Structure and MEP disciplines.
