Senior Buyer, CapEx & MRO Procurement

About the role

The Senior Buyer will lead sourcing for capital‑expenditure (CapEx) projects and maintenance‑repair‑operations (MRO) items within HSA Group’s procurement hub in Egypt. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will act as the bridge between Yemen‑based category leadership and a wide supplier base across Egypt, the GCC and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end sourcing for CapEx projects, including machinery, production equipment, line upgrades and expansions.
• Manage MRO procurement for spare parts, technical services and industrial equipment.
• Lead RFQs, RFPs, competitive bidding, commercial evaluation and supplier negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and other technical stakeholders to define specifications.
• Source and qualify local and international suppliers, maintain the Approved Vendor List and conduct performance reviews.
• Create, track and process purchase orders and goods receipt in SAP ERP or SAP Ariba.
• Support category strategy development, spend analysis and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics, installation and commissioning of equipment and resolve invoice or delivery discrepancies.
• Report savings, spend KPIs and supplier scorecards on a monthly basis.
• Participate in supplier qualification, factory audits and technical assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Procurement or a related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, with proven hands‑on CapEx procurement for production lines.
• Strong understanding of the full CapEx lifecycle and MRO procurement principles.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience working with Chinese, European, GCC or other international equipment suppliers is an advantage.
