Senior Construction Management Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Construction Management Engineer (Mechanical) to join our headquarters in Cairo. The role will lead mechanical construction activities from the tender stage through execution and hand‑over, while providing technical support to internal teams and project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical construction strategies from tender to project completion.
• Provide technical input to Planning, Proposals, PMO, Project Management and Engineering departments.
• Contribute to construction methodologies, execution plans, schedules and risk assessments during pre‑award and post‑award phases.
• Participate in subcontractor sourcing, technical evaluation, negotiation and selection, including RFQ preparation and clarification.
• Support mobilization and hiring of mechanical site supervision teams.
• Monitor site execution, resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedules.
• Coordinate constructability, safety, cost control and quality of mechanical works.
• Assist with resource planning, variations and change management for mechanical activities.
• Capture lessons learned and share best practices across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in mechanical construction management, preferably in power‑plant projects.
• Background in technical office roles and/or site supervision.
• Experience in resource estimation and manpower planning.
• Strong coordination, communication and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
