Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

JLL is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join its PDS team in Egypt. The role administers the contracts of a mixed-use development and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to drive successful project delivery. It is an on-site position in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the project and cost management delivery teams on contract administration
• Manage and advise on the contractual obligations of project parties
• Monitor contract performance and compliance against project plans
• Prepare claim responses and variation orders, and negotiate claims with project parties
• Advise on the interpretation of contract terms and prepare contractual notices and correspondence
• Prepare contract analysis reports highlighting concerns and risks
• Draft and issue variation instructions and orders, and review change requests and contractor notices of change
• Draft contract amendments and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled, safeguarding the client's rights

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Construction Management
• 15 years of relevant experience
• Fluent English; Arabic is also mentioned as an expected skill
• Good knowledge of standard forms of contracts; PMC experience is highly advantageous
