Senior Cost Control Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cost Control Engineer will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial monitoring for infrastructure projects within Elsewedy Electric's Industrial Development department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates and project budgets aligned with scope and financial goals.
• Monitor actual expenditures against approved budgets and address variances.
• Prepare cost reports and support financial forecasting and planning.
• Review and validate contractor/vendor invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Evaluate change orders, update budget forecasts, and implement cost control measures.
• Perform quantity surveying for civil and electro‑mechanical works.
• Maintain organized cost documentation for audits and reporting.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure integrated cost management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
• 4–6 years of cost control experience in engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Leadership qualities and ability to collaborate across departments.
