Senior Cost Control

About the role

Egis International_MMUPA is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Cost Control professional to join its Cairo office. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and controlling costs across multiple projects and departments, ensuring financial discipline and providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse project and departmental expenditures to identify variances and cost overruns.
• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive cost‑control strategies and procedures.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses and financial forecasts for management review.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to approved financial allocations.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to set and monitor cost targets.
• Maintain accurate cost records in compliance with organisational standards.
• Conduct financial audits and reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Analyse cost trends and provide recommendations for optimal resource allocation.
• Support pricing strategy development based on cost analysis and market conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, cost control or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles and methodologies.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and identify trends.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
