Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dsquares you will combine engineering and coding expertise to design, develop, test and deploy software systems that power our loyalty platform. You will partner closely with development teams to optimise application architectures for cloud environments, ensuring they are scalable, highly available and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with developers to optimise cloud‑native architectures for scalability, availability and performance.
• Implement and manage containerisation and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure performance issues.
• Enforce security best practices to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
• Maintain configuration‑management tools to ensure consistency across environments.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve DevOps processes.
• Document processes, procedures and configurations for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and IT operations.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI.
• Configuration‑management tools: Ansible, Terraform.
• Scripting languages: Bash, Python.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
