Senior Electrical Engineer – All Electrical Installations for Civil Works

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will ensure contractor compliance with contract documents and coordinate daily with engineering teams to record and verify work progress on a transportation project. This role involves total site supervision and inspection of all civil‑works‑related electrical installations, reporting directly to the MEP Construction Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site progress against baseline schedules, maintain daily logs of manpower, plant and equipment, and report status.
• Review contract packages, detailed design drawings, specifications, method statements and site safety plans.
• Verify contractor compliance through observation, field measurements, quality testing and QA logs.
• Perform formal site inspections, witness tests, and enforce site instructions issued by project leadership.
• Execute quality control procedures in line with the Project Quality Plan and conduct joint measurement checks for interim payment verification.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering construction supervision, preferably with top‑tier consultancy or Tier‑1 construction firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Prior supervisory experience on major rail or transit projects and international project exposure is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with ability to draft clear technical reports.
