Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer will lead the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs for plant electrical systems, ensuring high equipment availability and optimal OEE. You will coordinate breakdown response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across a large industrial facility.

Key responsibilities

• Execute scheduled electrical preventive and predictive maintenance plans and monitor KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and system availability.
• Lead breakdown management, perform fault isolation, and conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5‑Why and Fishbone techniques.
• Control critical spare‑parts inventory, set min/max thresholds, and guarantee emergency replacement readiness.
• Diagnose, calibrate, and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley), VFDs, servo systems, HMIs, and sensor circuits.
• Manage medium‑to‑low voltage power distribution, substations, transformers, MCCs, capacitor banks, and power‑factor correction systems.
• Read, update, and maintain 2D/3D electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and panel wiring layouts in AutoCAD.
• Enforce LOTO procedures, PPE compliance, and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 safety standards.
• Produce technical breakdown reports and maintenance logs using Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power & Machines, Power & Control, or Mechatronics).
• 5–7+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing plants, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Relevant certifications in PLC programming, power distribution design, AutoCAD electrical drafting, and ICDL.

Required skills

• PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, Allen Bradley) and troubleshooting.
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) setup and servo system integration.
• AutoCAD 2D/3D electrical drafting and schematic interpretation.
• Power distribution design, medium‑voltage equipment, MCCs, and transformer maintenance.
• CMMS usage and advanced Excel for data analysis.
