Senior ESB Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior ESB Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise service bus (ESB) integration solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust APIs, web services, and seamless system integrations that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ESB integration solutions.
• Develop and support APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
• Build and maintain REST and SOAP services.
• Integrate enterprise applications, databases, and third‑party systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration‑related issues.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and provide production support.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Development teams to gather integration requirements.
• Ensure solutions follow security, scalability, and performance best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and integration specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design sessions.
• Define integration test scenarios, facilitate UAT, and validate data integrity.
• Work with Integration Engineers to define API contracts, payload structures (JSON/XML), and endpoints using Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing middleware solutions.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Ability to translate complex technical integration concepts into clear business insights.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
