Senior Finance & Accounting Officer – Egypt & UAE

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Senior Finance & Accounting Officer to oversee daily financial and accounting operations for our entities in Egypt and the UAE. The role ensures accurate record‑keeping, regulatory compliance, and provides reliable financial information to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for Egypt and UAE entities, maintaining the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and supplier invoices with proper documentation.
• Handle Egyptian electronic invoicing via the ETA portal and submit VAT, withholding tax, salaries tax, and social insurance filings on time.
• Support UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports, quarterly balance sheets, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Develop the annual budget, monitor performance, conduct variance analysis, and update cash‑flow forecasts.
• Oversee banking operations, including payments, transfers, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Process monthly payroll, salary files, payroll tax reports, and social insurance documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Follow up on outstanding customer invoices, manage collections, and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
• Coordinate audit activities, prepare schedules, and ensure audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with strong organizational and detail‑orientation skills.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions (Egypt and UAE).
• Knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, ETA electronic invoicing, and UAE tax requirements.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Strict confidentiality in handling payroll and sensitive financial data.
