Senior Finance Manager

About the role

Augustus Media is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations across the media business. The role oversees the full spectrum of finance functions, from general ledger to treasury, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations while providing strategic insights for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure accurate records and efficient processing.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables and working capital to maintain liquidity.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams for accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
• Drive cost optimisation by reviewing supplier invoices, recurring expenses and contracts.
• Manage treasury activities, including cash‑flow forecasting, banking relationships and liquidity planning.
• Oversee VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax and other statutory tax compliance across markets.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing schedules and supporting documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive finance experience within the media industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Experience managing treasury, tax compliance and audit coordination.
