Senior Import Specialist – Sanitary Ware & Wellness Products

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Import Specialist to lead the end‑to‑end import process for sanitary ware and wellness products sourced from European and international suppliers. You will ensure smooth customs clearance, accurate documentation, and cost‑effective delivery to our Giza facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full import cycle from shipment booking to customs release and final delivery.
• Prepare, review and control commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin and quality certificates.
• Handle customs clearance via the Nafeza/ACID platform and coordinate GOEIC registration when required.
• Administer Letters of Credit, documentary collections and CBE Form 4 in collaboration with banks and finance.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines and licensed customs brokers to optimise transit time, freight cost and demurrage.
• Calculate and monitor landed cost (duties, VAT, freight, insurance) and flag variances against budget.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian import regulations, HS‑code classification and product standards.
• Track shipments, maintain import records and provide arrival forecasts for inventory and sales planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers and manage order follow‑up according to Incoterms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• 5–7 years of import experience, preferably with sanitary ware, ceramics, building materials or premium imported goods.
• Strong knowledge of Nafeza/ACID, GOEIC procedures and Egyptian customs regulations.
• Proficient in Incoterms 2020, Letters of Credit and international shipping documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English for supplier communication.
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple shipments under pressure.
