Senior Industrial Consultant I

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Industrial Consultant I to join its Customer Projects, Solutions and Services team in New Cairo, Egypt. You will work closely with solution architects, marketing, sales and project teams to deliver industrial software and automation solutions that meet customer needs and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and prepare accurate quotations.
• Develop functional design specifications and value‑engineering solutions for end‑customers, contractors and consultants.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Marketing to promote standard solutions and enforce product road‑maps.
• Study, design and document Schneider‑based applications, including architecture, functional description and third‑party integrations.
• Provide technical guidance, pre‑sales support and expertise during tendering and RFQ responses.
• Support key project architecture, functional design, offer prescription and execution consulting.
• Adapt validated segment architectures (TVDA) and develop competence within Schneider and its partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, utilities, data centre or transportation sectors.
• Strong understanding of PLC, HMI, BMS and SCADA technologies.
• Basic knowledge of power distribution and control concepts.
