Senior Infrastructure System Engineer – Active Directory & Entra ID

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure System Engineer to lead the management and optimisation of Active Directory and Entra ID services within a large‑scale enterprise environment. The role ensures service reliability, resolves complex technical issues and supports project delivery while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Office IT infrastructure services, focusing on Active Directory and Entra ID environments.
• Coordinate, assess and implement change requests to maintain service stability.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and deliver long‑term solutions.
• Act as a technical escalation point for service desks and specialist teams.
• Monitor service performance, availability and quality against agreed standards.
• Contribute to project planning and execution with operational and technical assessments.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational guides and user instructions.
• Support capacity planning, reporting and future scalability.
• Drive Continuous Service Improvement initiatives and participate in service review meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience with Entra ID, including SSO integrations, conditional access, MFA and modern authentication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Azure administration and Active Directory environments.
• Experience in Windows Server environments and system integration.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting and data reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with user lifecycle management and provisioning processes.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
