Senior Instrumentation Sales Engineer

About the role

Comex Commercial Company is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Sales Engineer to drive technical sales across its instrumentation portfolio. Based in Cairo, you will engage with clients in oil & gas, power, water, fertilizer, chemical and other heavy‑industrial sectors, presenting solutions that meet their process control and measurement needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and open new market opportunities, expanding the customer base.
• Gather client requirements and match them with appropriate instrumentation products.
• Prepare and issue quotations, selecting suitable instrument models and pricing.
• Conduct client visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Maintain ongoing relationships, providing support, information and guidance.
• Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals and follow up on all enquiries.
• Perform site surveys and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
• Assist the Sales Manager in implementing the overall sales strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Communication, Petroleum or related).
• 3‑5 years of experience selling instrumentation and control systems.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of transmitters, gauges, switches, control systems, electric actuators and calibration equipment.
• Technical support and instrumentation expertise.
• Sales engineering and solution‑based selling.
