Senior Java Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team building a high‑concurrency IoT PaaS platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that collect, process, and analyze massive streams of IoT data while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across product, frontend, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑concurrency IoT PaaS services using Spring Boot.
• Design and implement data collection endpoints for TCP, UDP, MQTT, and HTTP protocols.
• Build real‑time data consumption and analysis pipelines.
• Create robust push APIs and business‑side integration endpoints.
• Develop audio/video alarm file services and streaming media components.
• Write protocol decoders for new device integrations.
• Implement webhook and OpenAPI methods for third‑party platforms.
• Optimize system performance for high‑throughput scenarios.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and lead architecture decisions.
• Implement comprehensive testing, monitoring, and best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional Java backend development.
• Proven track record of building high‑concurrency distributed systems.
• Experience in a senior or lead developer role, mentoring teams.
• Comfortable working in agile development environments.

Required skills

• Java (8+) and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Netty framework for network programming.
• Message queues: RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka.
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Communication protocols: TCP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket.
• OpenAPI specifications and webhook implementation.
• Version control with Git.
