Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack

About the role

Integrant is hiring a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java Full Stack in Cairo. The role sits in a microservices platform team and combines hands-on development with coaching the technical team, code review, estimation and architecture guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document and maintain software applications, including unit testing, smoke testing and release notes.
• Take overall responsibility for code quality, run code reviews and coach the team on best practices, standards and design patterns.
• Guide the team in Agile practices, break backlog features into smaller tasks and assign work in line with priorities.
• Estimate effort for new features and modules, highlight risks and dependencies, and escalate impediments to the Project Manager.
• Analyze functional requirements, build solution architectures and give design guidance to the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Frontend development experience required; strong analytical thinking, independent work and very good English.
