Senior Logistics Network Purchasing Specialist

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is hiring a Senior Logistics Network Purchasing Specialist in Nasr City. The role covers planning, booking and tracking of inbound and outbound transports, managing logistics complaints and supporting the sourcing of logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, book and track inbound and outbound transports (regular and premium)
• Ensure shipping documents are complete and record shipments in the transportation management system
• Verify and pre-approve invoices related to transportation services
• Issue and manage logistics complaints on transportation and warehouse services
• Optimize transportation routes and truck utilization
• Provide tracking information to other departments
• Plan and monitor transportation costs
• Support the sourcing of logistics services
• Gather data and update logistics network KPIs
• Ensure compliance with local, regional and global legal regulations on transport and warehouse management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade or a related field; candidates from any university background are welcome who hold a professional Diploma in Supply Chain Management
• At least 3 years of experience
• Fluent English, written and spoken, able to communicate professionally
