Senior Low Current Presales Engineer

About the role

Specialized Seamless Services is seeking a Senior Low Current Presales Engineer to join its AV & LC Presales Team. You will design and support integrated low‑current, ELV, and security system solutions for a variety of clients in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings and BOQs to identify client requirements and technical clarifications.
• Design integrated solutions for access control, CCTV, physical security, parking management, master clock and intercom systems.
• Select suitable equipment, verify system compatibility, capacity, coverage and integration requirements.
• Prepare system layouts, single‑line diagrams, BOQs, compliance matrices, equipment schedules and technical proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, prepare cost estimates and recommend value‑engineering alternatives.
• Coordinate ICT network requirements and interfaces with related systems, including queuing and bollard systems.
• Support sales during client meetings, site surveys, technical presentations and tender clarification stages.
• Provide structured technical handover of awarded projects to the delivery team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in low‑current/ELV systems, with strong presales, design, estimation and tendering background.
• Proven experience with an ELV systems integrator delivering integrated security and building technology proposals.

Required skills

• IP‑based access control solutions (controllers, readers, credentials, door interfaces, capacity planning).
• IP video surveillance solutions (camera selection, lens, VMS/NVR architecture, storage, bandwidth, analytics).
• Design and integration of physical security, parking management, ANPR/LPR, barriers, master clock and IP audio/video intercom systems.
• Preparation of accurate BOQs, compliance matrices, technical proposals, equipment schedules and cost estimates.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel for layouts, diagrams and calculations.
