Senior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

EVA Pharma, a pharmaceutical company committed to high-quality healthcare solutions worldwide, is looking for an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer. The role oversees maintenance operations so that production equipment and facilities run continuously and efficiently, and plays a key part in preventive maintenance programmes, troubleshooting and maintenance projects that improve equipment reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Implement corrective maintenance actions under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor Engineer.
• Carry out approved preventive maintenance plans to optimise equipment reliability, ensuring they are implemented on time and efficiently.
• Maintain machines to increase efficiency and reduce stoppage times.
• Take part in major shutdowns according to agreed schedules, after discussing the shutdown plan with the Maintenance Supervisor Engineer.
• Apply and follow ISO instructions and complete all ISO-related paperwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
• Very good English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance planning.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
