Senior Mobile Developer – Flutter (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to create modern, scalable, and user‑centric cross‑platform applications for iOS and Android. The role is hands‑on and technically deep, giving you ownership of features from design through release.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end features for Flutter‑based mobile apps.
• Shape mobile architecture, state‑management patterns and coding standards.
• Build and maintain a shared component library and design system.
• Implement runtime theming and configuration to avoid hard‑coded branding.
• Ensure accessibility and correct behavior across devices and screen sizes.
• Write platform‑specific native code when plugins are insufficient.
• Apply mobile security best practices such as secure storage, biometric authentication and safe token handling.
• Integrate with REST APIs and OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows, handling offline and error states.
• Optimize performance, startup time, rendering and network efficiency.
• Write and maintain automated unit, widget/component and integration tests.
• Review peers’ code, mentor junior engineers and raise the team’s quality bar.
• Document technical decisions on Confluence and participate in team ceremonies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on mobile development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart (or React Native and TypeScript) with a willingness to work in either stack.
• Proven track record of shipping production cross‑platform apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Working knowledge of native iOS and Android platforms for writing platform channels or native modules.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and state‑management solutions (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, Redux, etc.).
• Good grasp of mobile security fundamentals and secure data handling on device.
• Experience with RESTful API integration, offline handling and background synchronization.
• Comfortable with Git, code‑review workflows and Agile delivery.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
