Senior Physician

About the role

The Senior Physician is responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care at project site clinics, ensuring patients receive appropriate treatment and coordinating with hospitals when necessary. This role also oversees medical supplies, supervises nursing staff, and supports the overall health and safety objectives of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and attend to patient care needs on‑site, performing thorough physical examinations.
• Identify cases requiring advanced treatment and arrange transfers to qualified hospitals.
• Document all patient medical data, including health history and examination results.
• Report work‑related injuries to the HSE manager and submit serious case and monthly reports to the medical department.
• Ensure patients receive proper medical care in hospitals.
• Maintain clinic inventory of medical equipment, medications, and tools.
• Supervise nurses and first‑aid personnel, ensuring they are medically up‑to‑date and well‑trained.
• Approve sick‑leave cases before forwarding them to the medical department.
• Perform additional assignments to support the department as needed.
• Adhere to company HSE policies, risk assessments, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (required) and a Master’s degree (preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant medical experience.
• Very good command of Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
