Senior Planning Engineer – 5-Star Luxury Hotel (Developer Rep)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to act as the Developer’s Representative on a flagship 5‑Star Hilton Grand Hotel project in Giza. The role involves leading master scheduling, forensic delay analysis, progress reporting and time control across all phases of the hotel construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated Primavera P6 master schedule (Level 3‑4), monitor progress against baseline and align look‑ahead schedules with Hilton operator milestones.
• Prepare monthly executive dashboards, S‑curves and progress reports for the Board and conduct “what‑if” scenario analyses for design changes or acceleration plans.
• Perform time‑impact analysis and delay methodologies to evaluate, defend or counter contractor Extension of Time and disruption claims.
• Lead progress meetings with tier‑one contractors and consultants, and coordinate with Hilton’s technical and operational teams for mock‑up approvals, fit‑out sequencing and commissioning readiness.

Required profile

• BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural Engineering.
• Preferred certifications: PSP, PMI‑SP, PMP or PRMG.
• 10–12 years of planning and scheduling experience on mega‑construction projects.
• Proven developer/PMC experience on 5‑Star luxury hotel developments with global operators such as Hilton, Marriott or Four Seasons.

Required skills

• Expert, hands‑on mastery of Primavera P6.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Strong expertise in forensic schedule analysis and time‑impact studies.
• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Experience with hotel MEP/fit‑out sequencing.
• Familiarity with EDMS platforms such as Aconex and PMWeb.
