Senior Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst

About the role

The Senior Pricing & Portfolio Management Analyst will deliver reliable actuarial production services, develop and maintain pricing models, and support product development across AXA's insurance portfolio in Egypt. The role involves close collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate pricing, regulatory compliance, and effective portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Provide actuarial production services for all products, documenting work and validating system‑generated pricing data.
• Create, check, and maintain quotation tools, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
• Develop, maintain, and supervise technical pricing models and produce formal actuarial reports and regulator correspondence.
• Manage actuarial interaction with other departments, review and update procedures, and ensure compliance with AXA's risk‑management framework.
• Mentor actuarial analysts and interns, delegate work, and deliver basic actuarial training modules.
• Assist in product development, pricing, and portfolio reviews for retail and pre‑underwritten products, including setting assumptions and projecting earnings.
• Conduct regular experience analysis and quantitative/qualitative research to inform pricing decisions.
• Set fixed parameters and assumptions for pricing commercial products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or related field; actuarial exam passes are a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience in risk management, actuarial or other technical functions within an insurance or reinsurance company.
• Progression towards Fellowship of the Society or Institute of Actuaries.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in R.
• Experience with VBA and Access.
• Ability to create and maintain dashboard and monitoring tools.
