Senior Procurement Engineer – Construction Fit‑Out

About the role

LEEDS FIT-OUT is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead the procurement activities for fit‑out projects in Sheikh Zayed, Giza. The role involves managing subcontractor pricing, contracts, and payment processes while ensuring alignment with project specifications and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Compare subcontractor quotes with internal estimates, negotiate optimal prices, and prepare award contracts.
• Issue advanced payment certificates, attach approved cost sheets, and obtain managerial approval.
• Review major item quantities, coordinate purchase orders with the Technical Department and site management.
• Develop and approve procurement schedules that outline delivery plans.
• Adjust purchase order quantities based on shop drawings, waste ratios, and market availability.
• Resolve conflicts between project management and subcontractors regarding work valuations and invoices.
• Monitor weekly procurement memos to keep subcontractor payments on track.
• Provide cost breakdowns for variation orders and support the commercial department.
• Calculate final project costs, review final subcontractor invoices, and prepare final billing for client and consultant.
• Maintain and update the approved vendor list with newly qualified subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of procurement experience, specifically in fit‑out projects.
• Resident of Greater Giza.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for procurement activities.
