Senior Procurement Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

The Senior Procurement Engineer – Mechanical will lead technical procurement activities for systems, equipment and materials across company projects. The role ensures optimal quality, cost and contractual terms while supporting project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and financial comparisons and negotiate subcontractor terms.
• Review catalogs and assist in onboarding new suppliers across various trades.
• Study project drawings, specifications and tender documents to evaluate proposals.
• Issue and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs) using e‑procurement tools and update tracking systems.
• Collect and file quotations from local and international suppliers.
• Prepare submittals for client/consultant approval and process purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering with professional certification.
• 4–5 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Very good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of project specifications and contractual processes.
