Senior Product Designer

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Products, the Senior Product Designer at almentor leads end‑to‑end design for web and mobile learning experiences. You will own complex problem spaces, conduct research, and use data to shape intuitive, measurable, and durable products for thousands of learners across the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Create and validate product experiences through flows, wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI for both web and mobile platforms.
• Plan and run qualitative research (interviews, usability tests, concept tests) and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Work with quantitative data such as funnels, feature usage and experiment results to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from discovery through implementation, ensuring pragmatic choices while protecting UX intent.
• Define success metrics, manage trade‑offs and prioritize work to balance scope, quality and technical feasibility.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products with a portfolio that demonstrates end‑to‑end thinking.
• Strong UX fundamentals including information architecture, interaction design, usability and accessibility.
• Proven ability to run independent research and use data‑driven insights to guide design.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex decisions to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto‑layout, prototyping).
• Solid documentation habits and ability to create clear design specifications.
