Senior Project Controls Manager

About the role

JLL is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager to join its PDS team in Egypt, based in Cairo. The role covers the project controls of running contracts for a mixed-use development and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to drive successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain schedule baselines and set up performance monitoring mechanisms.
• Lead the Project Controls team in reviewing progress reports with the Project Manager, supervision consultants and main contractors.
• Monitor on-site progress and verify contractor-submitted reports.
• Lead schedule-related meetings and ensure sub-schedules from all project parties are integrated.
• Review and comment on contractor-submitted Extension of Time (EOT) claims and analyse the time impact of scope changes or variations.
• Track progress against the baseline schedule, monitor risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation scenarios.
• Report on schedule progress using metrics such as Earned Value (EV) and Planned Value (PV), and prepare periodic progress reports and correspondence.
• Produce schedule-related KPIs and communicate cost and schedule responsibilities across project functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 15 years of relevant experience in project planning and scheduling.
• PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is highly advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
