Senior Purchasing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to lead the procurement of indirect goods and services across multiple departments. You will act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle procurement of indirect goods and services for HR, Marketing, Admin, Finance, IT and other departments.
• Receive, evaluate and process purchase requests through the Odoo ERP system.
• Create and manage RFQs, compare quotations and conduct cost‑benefit analyses.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery conditions with suppliers.
• Generate and follow up on Purchase Orders, monitor order status and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts and recurring service agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and prepare periodic procurement reports.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in indirect procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or textile sectors (preferably in Egypt).
• Fluent Arabic and excellent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP (Procurement/Inventory modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling.
