Senior Quality Specialist

About the role

The Senior Quality Specialist drives and maintains the highest standards of food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all store operations. Working closely with the QA & FS Manager, operations teams, and external suppliers, you will embed a culture of quality throughout the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HACCP plans, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 food safety management systems and related SOPs.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections and product evaluations to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints and non‑conformances, managing root‑cause analysis and CAPA processes.
• Identify quality gaps, analyse KPI trends and drive continuous‑improvement projects using data‑driven tools.
• Deliver food‑safety training, coach operations teams and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Coordinate third‑party audits, health inspections and certification renewals, acting as primary contact for regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Medicine or a related field (required).
• Post‑graduate qualification or professional certification in food safety or quality management (advantage).
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or food safety within food & beverage or hospitality.
• Experience leading HACCP studies, internal audits and CAPA processes; coffee industry or QSR background is a plus.
