Senior Relationship Manager - Corporate and Institutional Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will lead a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients, driving profitability and growth across loan, deposit and off‑balance‑sheet products. You will work closely with the Head of Desk and senior management to align proposals with bank policies and client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise profitability of the assigned portfolio and increase loan, deposit and off‑balance‑sheet volumes.
• Prepare and review proposals ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and Central Bank regulations.
• Set and monitor KPIs for the team, manage budgeting for marketing activities, and lead market research for sector coverage.
• Oversee portfolio renewals, conduct annual reviews, and address any deviations or emerging risks.
• Coordinate operational flow, hold regular client meetings, gather feedback and provide tailored solutions.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with large corporate clients.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate banking, with a strong focus on large corporate credit.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Solid understanding of macro‑economic trends and banking regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, economics or a related field.
• Relevant credit certification.
