Senior Security Specialist – Physical & Access Control

About the role

The Senior Security Specialist will lead and enhance security operations across all sector‑managed facilities. You will ensure the safety of people, assets, and buildings by overseeing physical security, access control, incident handling, and emergency preparedness.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily security operations, including guarding, patrols, and access control.
• Conduct regular inspections of security measures and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate security coverage for events, VIP visits, and emergencies.
• Monitor and enforce visitor management and electronic access procedures.
• Oversee CCTV and surveillance system performance, report failures, and schedule testing.
• Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in evacuation drills and provide security support during emergencies.
• Collaborate with IT and maintenance to ensure system functionality.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in facility security or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid, Emergency Response, Security Risk Management, NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
